Booking Procedure

1. Decide on the week/s you would like to take your holiday.

2. Telephone ( 01729 ) 860367 to make a provisional telephone booking. I will hold the booking for 5 days pending receiving the completed booking form together with a deposit.

3. Confirm your booking immediately by completing your booking form & posting together with a deposit of £65.00 per week by first class mail.

4. I will confirm the booking in writing & advise you of the balance that will be required 4 weeks before your holiday commences.

Conditions Of Hire

Reservations of the accommodation are accepted by Mrs S.E Lambert, hereinafter referred to as the owner, on the following conditions of hire.

1. The hiring contract  shall be between the Hirer & the Owner. The contract of hire is not effective until the Owner dispatches to the Hirer written confirmation of the booking.

2. A £65.00 per week deposit must be paid with each booking.

3. Once a confirmation of booking has been issued by the owner the hirer is responsible for the total advertised price of the letting plus any extra charges.

4. Any cancellation must be by telephone & then in writing. The deposit is then forfeited. Depending on the reason for the cancellation & the commencement of the letting, the owner may decide to relinquish the hirer from the obligation to pay the balance.

5. In-season lettings are of a minimum period of 1 week starting Saturday 3 pm on the day of arrival                     
( please do not arrive before 3 pm ) & ending Saturday at 10 am on the day of departure.

6. Personal baggage & belongings including bikes, vehicles & contents are at the hirers risk at all times.

7. Linen, towels, tea towels & toilet rolls are supplied.

8. All fuel, electric, heating ( storage heaters ), bed linen & towels are included in the rent.

9. Under no circumstances may more than the number of persons stated on the booking form occupy the property. The property sleeps a total of 6 persons + baby cot. Visitors are restricted & allowed only by prior arrangement with the owner.

10. The hirer is responsible for the property & its contents during the period of letting & is expected to take all reasonable care of it. All equipment, utensils etc must be left clean & the property must be left clean & tidy at the end of the hire period. Breakages & damage must be paid for.

11. Sorry no pets in high season, but in low season & when only up to 4 persons staying 1 pet may be allowed at a charge of £10.00 per week.

12. The water supply is from a private borehole.

13. Electric blankets are on all beds.

14. Smoke alarms are fitted.
